The chairman of the CTCC UK, Mr Dourmoush Ibrahim Dourmoush welcomed this new initiative by expressing the following viewpoint “This forum will be the ideal opportunity for CTCC UK members, to gain an insight, guidance and above all obtain critical information regarding the prospects of investing in Northern Cyprus. This is the first time we have collaborated with our colleagues in YAGA and our desire is to provide an informative seminar about the scope of current and future investment opportunities available in Northern Cyprus”.
Ayşe Donmezer, the Director of YAGA, stated “that there were three main objectives to the meeting; primarily to present and launch the services of YAGA to potential investors in London; secondly to advise on the current economic climate within Northern Cyprus and finally to provide an in depth insight into the current investment climate, which will include discussions on the latest investment incentives as well as a comparison of direct, foreign and local investments”
Additional discussions will also centre on the expectations of potential UK investors; opinion and recommendations regarding the investment climate in Northern Cyprus and a frank appraisal and assessment of member’s expectations of the newly formed YAGA organisation. It is envisaged that this high profile seminar will provide the foundation for a unique “pool” of information for all prospective investors. The seminar will also provide a “Question and Answer” forum where the Chairman of the CTCC UK and the President of the Kıbrıs Turk Ticaret Odasi (KKTO)) and CTCI (Kıbrıs Turk Sanayi Odasi – (KIBSO)) will also be present and provide a wealth of knowledge and experience to the proceedings.
Mr Dourmoush, the Chairman of the CTCC UK also went on to say “This is a unique opportunity for all our members to have all the major investment authorities for Northern Cyprus “under one roof”. As a chamber we offer our members direct links to the KTTO so if you have a business in North Cyprus or are thinking of setting one up; the KTTO will be on hand to offer CTCC UK members advice and information with any business dealings you may have in Northern Cyprus” Mr Dourmoush also went on to say “The Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce UK is a membership organisation run by business’ for business’.
